The computer swallowed Grandma,

La computadora se tragó a la abuela,

Yes, honestly it’s true!

Si, honestamente es la verdad!

 

She pressed 'control and 'enter'

Ella presionó CONTROL y ENTER

And disappeared from view.

Y desaparecio de la vista.

It devoured her completely,

Fue devorada completamente

The thought just makes me squirm.

El sólo pensarlo hace que me retuerza

She must have caught a virus

Ella debe haber agarrado un virus

Or been eaten by a worm.

O  algún gusano se la debe haber comido

I've searched through the recycle bin

Yo busqué en la papelera de reciclaje

And files of every kind;

Y en archivos de todo tipo

I've even used the Internet,

Inclusive busqué en Internet

But nothing did I find.

Pero no encontré nada.

In desperation, I asked Mr. Google

Deseperado le pedí al Señor Google

My searches to refine.

Que refinara  mis búsquedas,

The reply from him was negative,

Su respuesta fue negativa

Not a thing was found 'online.'

No se encontro nada ONLINE

So, if inside your 'Inbox,'

Entonces, si  dentro de tu Bandeja de Entrada

My Grandma you should see,

Llegás a ver a mi Abuela

Please 'Copy, Scan' and 'Paste' her,

Por favor COPIALA, ESCANEALA Y PEGALA

And send her back to me.

Y mandámela  de vuelta

This is a tribute to all the Grandmas & Grandpas, Nannies & Pops, who have been fearless and learned to use the Computer.........
They are the greatest!!!
